Yoga and meditation instructor
Originally from Canada and now living in Sheffield, I am very excited to be teaching yoga and meditation at the Sheffield Wellness Centre. I currently offer a weekly meditation (Be Still) on Wednesday evening from 7-7:30pm and Saturday morning yoga (Flow + Restore) from 10-11:15am.
One-to-one sessions are also available. I have been practicing yoga consistently since 2013. It wasn’t long after I started my practice that it became very apparent I didn't want my yoga journey to only include the role of student, but also, teacher.
In 2015 I traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand to complete a 200-hour yoga teacher training with Yoga Alliance registered Tribe Yoga. My formal training was focused around Vinyasa Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation.
These practices have all played a role in improving my overall health + well-being, expanding my consciousness, and increasing my connection with spirit. I have since found a unique style with well thought out sequences that include breath awareness, gentle movement, self-acceptance, and empowerment through discipline.
A well-balanced yoga practice that includes conscious movement, intentional breath, stillness, and contemplation really is for everyone. I am so thankful to have found these amazing tools for self-exploration and I am honoured to share these sacred teachings with my students.
