Meditation and Well-being six week programme
Do you want to start 2019 investing in yourself and your own well-being? Is there something in particular that you want to focus on…finding some peace, balance, contentment, relaxation in your life?
Releasing feelings of stress and anxiety? Finding time for yourself? Sleeping better? This six week programme gives you the chance to step outside the busyness of everyday life and focus on you and your well-being; time to ‘just be’; to relax and enjoy learning new ways of looking after you.
Over the six weeks we will meditate, learn mindful practices and use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), all of which can be used in daily life so you can keep on looking after you. Meditation focuses you on your breathing, letting go of outside influences, calming the mind to find peace and relaxation.
Each week we will focus on different meditations to develop your practice and understanding of how meditation can enhance your life. We will practice breathing, relaxation and visualisation techniques which you can then use anytime and anywhere.

Mindful practices enable us to live in the moment, to be aware of how we are and be kind to ourselves in daily life. Emotional Freedom Technique is often known as ‘tapping’. It is a practical self-help method that involves using the fingers to gently tap on the body’s acupuncture points along the meridian lines of Chinese medicine.
Many people recognise the therapeutic effects of this technique the world over. EFT Tapping helps us to rid negative patterns that we form around our uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. We ‘tap’ on the correct pressure points while bringing the thoughts or emotions into consciousness and find relief, relaxation, and healing to restore a more positive mind and body balance.
